Job Title: Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Duties: Uline, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst in Waukegan, Illinois to perform quality assurance testing for software applications. Write and execute test cases and test scripts. Update test plans and test cases as per software requirement specifications and business rules. Conduct functional, integration, database, and regression testing. Create and enhance test scripts to handle changes in the objects, in the tested application’s GUI, and in the testing environment. Test web and client server applications. Re-test defects found under UAT, functional, system, and integration testing. Conduct status reporting and test updating in TFS. Perform back-end testing using SQL queries to ensure data integrity and validate business rules. Utilize SQL queries to fetch records from different tables in databases including DataStax Studio, Oracle, and Db2. Conduct API Testing using Postman. Create and design master test strategy documents, master test plans, test schedules, test cases, test procedures, and test scenarios of software and hardware. Utilize defect logging tools including TFS for bug tracking and defect logging. Salary: $115,461 per year - $115,461 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Information Technology, or a related field plus six years of progressive quality assurance testing for software applications or related occupation experience. Must have at least six years of experience in each of the following: (1) Conducting functional, integration, database, and regression testing; (2) Testing web and client server applications; (3) Conducting status reporting and test updating in TFS; (4) Performing back-end testing using SQL queries to ensure data integrity and validate business rules; (5) Conducting API Testing using Postman; and (6) Utilizing defect logging tools including TFS for bug tracking and defect logging.
