Job Title: Business Intelligence Architect

Job Duties: Uline, Inc. seeks a Business Intelligence Architect in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin to develop database architecture for business intelligence systems. Develop a roadmap for an enterprise-wide Business Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytic platform. Define BI data architecture including: ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes, ODS (Operational Data Store), EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), Data Marts, and Data Lakes. Build database systems using SQL server, Teradata, Db2, Oracle, and Azure synapse. Utilize data warehousing concepts and methodologies including Inmon and Kimball. Research and recommend technologies to support the implementation of the BI roadmap. Perform environment setup and configuration. Build database warehouses using ETL tools including Informatica and SSIS. Perform data visualization and analysis using Tableau and Power BI. Make and test modifications to database structures. Maintain databases and update permissions. Collaborate with Data Architects to ensure that logical and physical data models support the analytic needs of the business. Develop design patterns and best practices and monitor implementation and compliance. Annual salary: $180,000 - $180,000.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field plus five years of progressive business intelligence experience. Must have at least five years of experience in each of the following: 1. Defining BI data architecture including: ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Processes, ODS (Operational Data Store), EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), Data Marts, and Data Lakes; 2. Building database systems using SQL server, Teradata, Db2, Oracle, and Azure synapse; 3. Utilizing data warehousing concepts and methodologies including Inmon and Kimball; 4. Building database warehouses using ETL tools including Informatica and SSIS; and 5. Performing data visualization and analysis using Tableau and Power BI.
